HISTORY |
|
Faculty of Commerce and Tourism Education
was estabilished as “Secretary Teacher Training Center” and “Commerce Teacher
School” for 3 years in 1956. The name of the faculty was changed as “Commerce
and Tourism Teacher School” and period of training was increased for 4 years
in 1965. The faculty was connected to Gazi University in 1982 and was
conversed to faculty with it’s present name in 1992. |

EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES |

Within
the faculty are two fully equipped computer labs with internet connection and
one research bookcase. Besides, there are three seminar rooms, three lecture
room, ten classrooms, lecture theatre, student’s canteen and messhall. |

JOURNAL OF COMMERCE & TOURISM
EDUCATION FACULTY Journal of
Commerce & Tourism Education Faculty was published twice in a year and the journal has
editorial advisory board. The journal is publishies academic and specific
articles about business administrative, management and organization, office
management, tourism and education. Besides, the journal is publising since
1998. |

ACTIVITIES IN TOURISM WEEK Every year
in the first week of April, the activities in torism week are arranged by the
Faculty of Commerce & Tourism Education, Department of Tourism Management
Education. During the activities, the authorized staff of Ministry of Tourism
and the sector experts give information about the latest improvements in
tourism field. |
